Thread: Where is the best snorkling in the whole world?

Where is the best snorkling in the whole wide world? If you wanted to go somewhere to see the most beautiful fish and coral reefs, where would you go? I have never been to Cozumel, but some people say it's the best. But is it really better than the Caribbean? Hawaii? Or Australia?

The best I have seen is the area between Kameole Beach II and Kameole Beach III in Kehei, Muai. There is a lava flow that spreads out like an open hand, with fingers that are about 3 feet below surface down to about 15 feet. Lots of marine life, and no costs involved. Just dive right in.

Most places I have been to in Mexico are over used and not very well respected by tourists, a lot of damage.:headbang2

What's it like? Why is it the best? I'm trying to pick a future cruise based on the snorkel factor!!
