Talk about being dumb, but then again, being around that amount of cash is a temptation. Thing is it's not worth trying to do what she did, because as she found out you're going to be caught.
If your onboard account is not right, this does not necessarily mean she is the reason why. It's highly possible passengers were charged properly, but she decided to steal that amount of money she hid in her cabin, that was recovered there. This is what you call 'absolute stupidity' plain and simple.
I agree with Ken, the money she was taken was probably cash on hand for the casino (and FROM the casino) and from cash paying pax. The only problem might be the charge slips they found and there weren't that amny of them........and the pax that they belonged to might not get charged for whatever it was they were charging as the slips would not get turned in. The one loser in this whole story is the cruiseline, had she not been caught. Working there for as long as she did should have clued her in to the way the amounts in the computer differ day to day but in the end always add up correctly. Or Should

Interesting article, thanks for sharing. When are people going to figure out they will always get caught?

Its so sad that she ruined her career, embarass herself, her boss, her family and co-workers for what? Money isn't a friend, she should of been grateful of her great position with a great company, what was she thinking? Oh wait she didn't think that's what got her in trouble.
