So many events are going on in the island of Puerto Rico. one can wonder if there is an economy problem. Well, yes, there are less jobs and there are forclosures and the rest of things that happen during an economic crisis but for now the island is in the peak of the high tourism season and things are happening . This weekend check out the taste of rums

Remember that when it comes to problems. ...DONT WORRY BE HAPPY

Puerto Rico's panaderķas, or bakeries, are far more than a place to get cakes and pastries in Puerto Rico. A panaderķa can be anything from a hole in the wall that sells bread and basic groceries to a full-blown restaurant and mini-mart. It's a good way to experience a slice of daily life (and local bread), no matter what part of the island you're visiting. The more popular panaderķas are meeting places and community centers where the neighborhood gathers, especially for breakfast and lunch.

my favorite bakery is in front of my home...LAS TORRES

Yes, my favorite bakery is in front of my home..LAS TORRES , Las Palmas Ave corner Ernest Cerra Street in downtown San Juan.....
There is a bakery that became famous (Kasalta) a few months ago when President Obama did a surprised stop to meet with the President of the Popular Political Party and have lunch. He had what we call "media noche".... its now know as the Obama Midnight, hahahahahaha

Never thought about whale watching in Puerto Rico, but it makes sense.

All those marvelous festival days. It is hopping down there. I don't recall any other season being so busy. Is it my imagination?
