    Hey!

I haven't seen him for almost a month! He doesn't drop by as often as he used to.

You could give him a holler at the travel agency --- here is the email address countrysidetourspr@yahoo.com

Be sure to let us know what info he has for you----better yet, ask him to post it here for the benefit of all our members on wheels.

I'm sure Victor can help you out. We took a tour with him and very much enjoyed the day with him.

Hi Hanna and Char. Thanks for your question and sorry for the delay and the answer to your question is yes.
If you are on a ship, disemabrking at pier # 2 you are already in the old city.
The old city is hilly and challenging but as one travel agent said, "its doable".
Many streets have curb-cuts (ramp). so you can actually get to fort San Cristobal which is power scooter friendly.
You can go to down the Princess walkway. You can shop at nearby stores.
Restaurants might be more uncomfortable but please try Cafe Puerto Rico at Plaza Colon .
    Look for the curb-cuts.
Please keep askingyour questions here or at signature below.
Thanks for wanting to see the old city.

    Hey Victor!

It's good to see you....thanks for letting us know that scooters can wheel around Old San Juan.
I'm sure there are other folks here who will benefit from your expertise.

Haven't had a chance to jump on here in the past days. I did get a very nice email from Victor, thanks Victor & it sounds as if my husband can see OSJ in his power chair. Yipee Will certainly try the cafe.
    Thanks again.

Message for Sara, please let me (and the other members) how it went for you in the old city.
Remember tat is is a bit challenging due to the historical streets, most of them paved bumpy with cobbled -stones and now there are working on the re-paving of all old city streets making traffic a little worse.
Getting on or off the curb-cuts (ramps) its alway reqyuires a little work and then remember that the old city its built on a cliff or hill, it starts at 0 sea-level and works it way up to about 100 feet above sea level.
Anyway we hope you enjoy your visit and the cafe
