I found the best time to hit San Juan was in the winter based on our stops there. It is not as muggy and the weather is beautiful.

Okay members, here is something new in old San Juan if you are going to be there on a Sunday at about 5:30 pm at the Princess Promenade.
Enjoy hanging out with the older locals as they listen to those musical groups of 40-50 years ago.
Its free. Its outdooer. Ther are artisans and food stands. Great Piña Coladas.
