Yes, they are. There is talk about changing it but up until today its legal.
Most towns have one cock fight arena.
There is one near the airport.

My reason for asking:
We are the University of South Carolina "Fighting Gamecocks". GO COCKS!

Because of this, we buy Post Cards with Cocks to send back home to our friends. Always wondered if Cock Fights were still legal there. Thanks for your answers. Rather shocked they still are ... but not being judgmental.

The only COCK Fight I want to see is when SC is playing another team.
