Planning a visit to Puerto Rico

There is so much to do on this island but you have to start in old san Juan with a complimentary rum drink at the new Don Q store. Take a land-sea ride on www.captainduck.com eat at a typical restaurant like www.nuyoricancafepr.com , visit one of the forts, then go ride a horse at www.haciendamadrigalpr.com , then see the luminiscent bay at www.islandkayakingpr.com
This and much more is available and if you need additional information check out www.puertoricoplanner.com click on sightseeing and then on expert.
Of course , dont forget to visit the rain forest, caverns and observatory.

A couple of years ago we did the Bicardi Rum factory tour.

Very disappointed in it. Did not show any of the facotry and its operations. You got a box and walked around pressing a number that related to that area. Just a bunch of rooms and pictures.

I am planning a visit for Feb 07. In my searches, I found this website I thought was very informative. I've posted it on CLF before, but I'll post it here as it seems appropriate. I am looking forward to our visit though it's only an evening stop from 5 to midnight.

All of the above are great ideas. I do not recommend driving yourself. It is not for the faint-hearted. Take a taxi, take a tour, or take the bus.
