Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
That's a pretty extensive article on San Juan, Sue.
I am gonna come back to it and read it a little more carefully before November when we sail out of there on the Serenade.
In the meantime, I have a question for those who are in the know about San Juan Lodging.
We'll be staying in San Juan at least one, maybe two nights pre-cruise later this year.
Because of business travel, I have enough points for a free night or two at an Intercontinental hotel. These include Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge, Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, and Hotel Indigo. Does anyone know anything about any of the hotels in this group in San Juan? Recommendations?
Thanks, I'll post this on the hotel thread as well.
Thanks for the info. I can't find my instructions on how to get to the Coach outlet in Old San Juan. Can anyone help?

We stopped in San Juan last year on the Radiance.. We really loved it there.. Just wished the ships were in some of these places longer...

I've been there many times...great city. I'll attach some photos of my trips there.
The first photo was from a flight into town, the second and third were from the anti-Iraq war rally there in 2003 (they were NOT into the invasion). The fourth photo was from inside the "Plaza Las Americas" mall, and the fifth one was at night in a square in Old San Juan this winter.
Cheers!

I'm booked for the Intercontinental for the end of my August cruise. I did a ton of research and this one came out very well on the reviews. It's it a nice resort with a large facility and on the beach. I have my kids with me so I thought it would be good for them as it seems to be a pretty vast pool area. Not sure when you need to book by, but I'd be happy to let you know how it is when I return on Sept 5th.Originally Posted by canarymoon
