I heard the Dawn is going to leave S.F. for L.A. on its 11day Mexican Riviera cruises next year. Is this true and if so, why? Thank you.

I'd say probably the cost of fuel.

Another reason could be the less than perfect cruise terminal facilities in SF.

I was a little confused about this so I had checked the Princess website. And then was even more confused until I looked at the date of the OP. The Dawn is currently in the South Pacific and will be next year too.
