What tour in St. Petersburg - Cruise Line Fans: Cruise Forum, Reviews and Chat From Real Cruisers

A group of 5 of us will be in St Petersburg Russia next August and we are looking for tour recommendations. We have contacted Denrus and Red October and we know there are tours offered from the ship.

We are sailing on the RCI Jewel of the Seas. Any info or recommendations that you can provide on these companies or others will be greatly appreciated.

Shardon, I have used Denrus and can highly recommend them. We overnighted in St. Pete and toured with them for 2 days. They were easy to work with and tailored our tour to things we wanted to do. Two of the things we did aren't on their "blanket" tours and that is we rode the Metro! That was a real treat and I would recommend you do that if you can fit it into your tour. The other thing that as a highlight is we had lunch with a Russian family. I think that was probably the most memorable thing we did in St. Petersburg--ranking way over all the palaces and museums we saw.

We have had friends who used Red October so which ever company you use, I don't think you can go wrong. They both come with high ratings.
