Our newest ship, Ruby PrincessSM, sets sail this November, and you could be a part of the festivities by winning the “Romance on the Ruby” Cruise Contest, presented by Princess Cruises® and promotionally sponsored by USA TODAY®. Ten finalists will receive a 2–day cruise for two on the inaugural preview sailing of Ruby Princess from Ft. Lauderdale, November 6–8, 2008, along with roundtrip airfare. One of the finalists aboard the inaugural cruise will be awarded the Grand Prize, a 7-day Caribbean cruise for two on the Ruby Princess with roundtrip airfare.

To enter, share your romantic story – a particular anniversary or an extraordinary moment in your relationship – and why you should win this incredible escape. Entries must be 250 words or less and received by October 3, 2008.

Our Department of Romance panel of experts will select the ten finalists, and Ruby Princess’ godparents – Trista and Ryan Sutter from the first season of ABC’s “The Bachelorette” – will select the most romantic story. My husband and I entered the contest and hope to win!! After 40 years of marriage we do have a few good stories. Since we are going on a cruise on November 29th, I have all our clothes and gear ready so will be able to pack and leave at any time!! JoAnn
