Thread: The Ruby Princess?

Someone on the dark side said that on his cruise the captain said the next ship will be the Ruby Princess, sister to the Crown and the Emerald. Haven't checked the Princess website yet to see if they have a PR on it.

I haven't heard anything yet about it. But it would fit right in name wise with Emerald, Diamond and Sapphire Princess'. I'll keep my eyes out for it. Maybe I'll hear something from Princess about it. If I do CLF will be the first I tell.

Always nice to see the Fleet groooooooooooooow.

Haven't heard the name of the new ship which will be delivered in the spring of 2008. Princess has no info. on the name of the new ship on it's news site as of now.
If the Capt. of the cruise ship this person was on said the new ships' name will be the 'Ruby Princess', I'd say he has the inside scoop, and it would be safe to take that as gospel.

Patty, I can now confirm that the next Princess ship will be named the Ruby Princess.
She will debut in November 2008, and will sail 7 day Western Caribbean itineraries through April 2009 from Ft Lauderdale, FL.
