We are actually going to be cutting back on the amount of luggage we take this trip and adding laundry detergent to our "must have" list!! Thanks for putting me on to this site. "Lars" was most helpful and encouraging but by the time I went back to followup on the cabin and booking....it was gone!!! Wasn't meant to be. Thanks again! B

Do you think that I could wait until November??? We actually booked early last summer and the prices have dropped twice but anytime I can carve more off that's just more I spend elsewhere! I did get a better deal on my flights yesterday. I canceled my original ones...the airlines had changed the flight times (only by a couple of minutes) but it still allowed me to cancel without penality. Then I rebooked and saved $1110. Not bad for a couple of hours work!

Leave Venice, Athens, Istanbul, Ephesus, Mykonos, Naples, Rome, Livorno (Pisa, Florence), Monte Carlo, Barcelona! Three pre-cruise nites in Venice, and 3 post-cruise nites in Barcelona.

I did all our reservations in apartments in each city and we'll do public transportation passes. Just want to "blend in" for a few days..as much as 3 southerns can "blend"! I've been working on my Italian!!!
