Lightbulb Where to go on your first cruise?

Just thought I'd post about this neat little thing I just found on the Royal Caribbean site- it's great for all of us newbie cruisers out there who might be confused at to where we want to go or what there is to do!

If you go to their site (www.royalcaribbean.com) and click on "Find your vacation personality with Sammy the Suitcase" under the "new to cruising" section, you can go through 4 different "rooms" and pick out 10 things you want to "put in your suitcase", anything from sipping margaritas to action-adventure kinds of stuff, and then at the end it'll tell you the best place to go based on what you've picked, like the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, etc. Pretty neat!

And I also discovered that I've been spelling Caribbean wrong (was spelling it with 2 R's instead of 2 B's)- DUH- how embarassing!!!!

I cannot even begin to say enough how helpful everyone has been here, the amount of information I have found here from previous posts, and even from one of the members own sites! I am definitely not so overwhelmed now- I feel like I have enough info to now plan this cruise a little bit more intelligently! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to all of you!!!!

Our very first cruise was the Boston to Bermuda cruise in May 2002 on the Norwegian Majesty. That was enough to hook us! We have done that same cruise 10 times. The Majesty is no longer going out of Boston but we will do the same cruise on the Dream this year. We have also sailed on Norwegians Sky, Sun, Jewell, Pearl and Spirt.
