    Roatan Marine Park

The Roatan Marine Park is a non profit organization, formed in 2005, to protext the coral reef surrounding the island - so crucial to healthy marine environment and tourism.

They have an excellent website, with an interactive dive site map, a Lionfish sighting report database, and an underwater photo competition

Has anyone ever visited the RMP - Roatan Marine Park - on a cruise to the region?

Check out the website when you have the time - it's well worth a visit and has a ton a resources about Roatan in general.

I have not, but have snorkeled there, and would go back again in a heartbeat. Because of being busy with other things, I did not get to do an organized snorkel, but rather 'stole' a few minutes of my own to get into the water at Half Moon Bay.

I will be sure to visit the site you've linked above, Tim. Thanks. Whenever I come across pictures or videos of Roatan, and especially ones involving the reef there, it's something that makes me smile.
