JV didn't make it to the orphanage ... but all the thnigs he took did. He made sure the supplies were delivered to the driver. Seems it took longer for them to get off the ship than anticipated. Don't know why.

Susan (Slineberry528), on the other hand, DID make it there!

He was probably making sure his kids got to see what they wanted to on the island. It was very good of him to take the stuff and make sure it got to the right place regardless.

The following llink is a webcam looking out from the coast of Roatan. AT this particular moment (14:00 est on 07/17/05), you can actually see the edges of Hurricane Emily over the Caribbean there...

(Emily is having little effect on Roatan at this time, but you can see the edge from there.)

Roatan is now starting to get experience some effects of Emily... Winds in the lower end of the 20-30 mph range

Let's hope that's the most they get...

The southern fringes of the storm are touching the island, if that is what you mean...

CSI Roatan is on the north west end of the island, on a hill that overlooks the sea.
