I'm not sure at this point that I'd let my kids or other family members zipline~ It is certainly something to think about. But, as the author pointed out- freak accidents do happen sometimes...It will be interesting to see what actuall transpired when everything is known.
Sad this happened!
Think, I'll do my "zip-lines" in Labadee where, if the cable should break, I'd go down in the water (at least some chance of survival) ....![]()

Wow, I was at Roatan with the Carnival Valor on 4/16/08. I never heard a word about this incident! Boy am I glad I chose Tabyana Beach!
