Just in case those who are interested in going might have missed it, there is some updated information for you on our 2006 Partners in Paradise thread.
(Pricing, and trying to tie down the date and who's going a little better.)
Has anyone thought about taking doggie bags for the dogs and cats? It would probably be the only good meal any of them would ever get. That little kitty that devoured my lunch had never had never seen so much food, let alone a chance for a bite.

I'll be returning to Roatan in just under two months. Can hardly wait to see what changes there have been in the 17 months since we were there.
Now, that's entirely TOO long, in my world.
SO...
...after the Valor sailing in September, we'll start counting the 8 months until our NEXT visit to Roatan in May 2007, on the
Friends of CSI Roatan Group Cruise
Rhapsody of the Seas
May 6, 2007
This group cruise to Roatan is gonna be tremendous!
(And there are still cabins available for this one... just let us know if you'd like to get in on the fun, and we'll help you get signed up!)
We just returned from escorting approximately 110 pounds of supplies for the CSI orphanage on Roatan. WOW!!!! Definitely the highlight of our 10 night cruise.....The kids were delighful, well-mannered, clean, and super friendly..Brad and Debbir have done a marvelous jobdown there. The ship was very accomadating in helping us to get all the stuff (two big suitcases, 2 knapsacks and a duffle bag) off the ship without being hassled by the local authorities.
In addition to the stuff (some condements, diapers to maxi pads and clothing etc.) we took 19 personal gift bags for each of the children to receive right away (the stuff we took was going into storage for the summer when there are fewer cruise ships). You would have thought we were Santa Claus come early!!!
I can't recommend this experience highly enough. If you don't do it for them..DO IT FOR YOURSELF!!!! And please whatever your conceptions are, realize that these children have it sooooo much better than if they were home. As Nike would say, "JUST DO IT!"
27 cruises and countin'!
Next cruise, July 12-26, 2008. NCL Jade 13 night cruise around the British Isles, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris.
Amy .. this is fantastic! I will make sure Canarymoon sees this and she can answer you.
We went in May and I have to tell you that the visit to the orphanage was the highlight of our trip. Absolute highlight!

How exciting that you are finally going to get to go to Roatan!
By the was ... the new name of the orphanage / mission there is CCCO, for Christ Centered Children's Outreach. (This just happened in May)
If you would like, we can arrange for a local driver who is a friend of the orphanage to meed you at tie pier. He will give you a discounted rate for driving you...
When it gets closer to time, we finalize the arrangements for your visit.
For now, just know that we (the Caring Cruisers) are here to help you arrange your visi to CCCOt.
My DH and I have just booked our cruise that stops in Roatan and we are also interested in going to the orphanage. From my understanding there are two orphanages on Roatan? We have booked a day with Victor Bodden while there, and he has told us he would stop to drop off supplies at the orphanage. I keep seeing links to supply lists posted, but I haven't been able to get any of them to work! Can someone post another one, or email me at carm225@yahoo.com
