I think they are building a 4th Freedom Class vessel after Allure of the Seas.

But I'm not sure what or when the next new class of ships will be!

I agree with you a little here Lars! When I toured Jewel of the Seas earlier this year I thought she was just right, not too big not too small. She was very friendly and had a wide range of venues for her guests.

They got it right when they designed the Radiance class ships (in my very humble opinion) Lots of glass and views of the ocean that the larger ships are missing.

I guess it is a trade off of "sailing" versus "entertaining". Todays new cruisers want a playground to keep them busy.

My understanding is that after Allure the next class will be in the range of 110,000-130,000 grt. I will probably be an expanded version of the Radiance class.

The next question is how soon will they go forward with the project.

Well, if that's the case, Bliz, let's hope it's at the lower end of that range, or it will be knocking on thedoor of the Voyager Class.

    Radiance class ~ 90,000 gt
    Voyager class ~ 138.000 gt

Please don't let the next ship be the "Disneyland of the Seas".
