    Hi Alexis,

Have you got any updates on the Dry Dock schedule, I have a cruise booked on the Grandeur in July so hopefully it will be fresh out of dock if it goes ahead :o)

    Thanks

We were in Cadiz, Spain on November 1 and saw the Splendour in dry dock. She had already had some of her balcony cabins added and the whole interior of decks 4 and 5 had been gutted. I could only view her from a distance with binoculars from the deck of the Voyager of the Seas, but she looked like she was well along with her renovations. There were cranes all around her and the upper deck was full of boxes and supplies.

*Grandeur of the Seas 28 APR - 29 MAY 2012 TBC
*Enchantment of the Seas 1 DEC- 15 DEC 2012 TBC
Rhapsody of the Seas 16 FEB - 1 MAR 2012

I was just reading article by John Honeywell in the UK about his recent visit to see the Splendour in dry dock.

$50 million is a huge sum - I'm sure the revamp is going to be impressive!

Here's a short excerpt : Touring the work-in-progress that is the Splendour of the Seas refit this week, most of the project was easy to see and understand. The balconies on Deck 6, for example, and the ducktail welded onto the stern are pretty obvious. We couldn't look round the new crew mess, but the restaurants and kitchen in the Viking Crown lounge and the miles of re-laid carpets were pretty apparent - even under protective plastic sheeting

Here are some pix from the Splendour refit.
The Grandeur is supposed to get the same upgrades next year.

    Thumbs up Hi timwilloughby

The new Drydock schedule was posted above by me on 1/02/2012 under my name on here Walja. On CC I am Alexis.
As soon as I saw that Albert Ross had left me the new one on CC I posted it
    there and here.
The drydock schedule above that was posted by TonyRam was an older one and should no longer be used.
I am sorry I was late putting it up, but I have not been on much and did not see Albert's posting right away.

    Question?

Somehow my posting above has been changed from the one I posted from Albert??
There were no highlighted dates on my posting and I am curious as to how you changed it?
I have tried again to post the original from Albert on this post and it will not let me.
Instead I get the highlighted one again and cannot change it.
How and why is that happening. My copy is also correct.

    Hi Walja,

Do you know of the Grandeur has gone into dry dock for its refurb?

    Thanks
    Tony
