RCI- line for set sail pass

Is there or isn't there a separate line to check in at San Juan if you have your Set Sail pass? Have heard conflicting info: some reports say yes there are separate lines; some say the 2 lines are "regular passengers" vs the "higher level" Crown & Anchor regardless of whether you have yr Set Sail pass pre-printed. Which is correct? Don't want to stand in the long line if can go in a shorter one.

I do not think they have a seperate line for set sail passes but they do if you are platium and diamond and above.

What about in Miami? Is there a seperate line there for the Set Sail passes?
Just completed my 35th cruise! Coming up: QM 2 in November

I want to make sure I understand this question. The Set Sea Pass is what you print out online. I hope you are talking about this. No you do not have a seperate line for this. The only seperate line is for cruisers who have sailed 5 or more times. Platium, Diamond, Diamond Plus, etc.

Yes, I just printed out my SetSail pass for my upcoming cruise next week. I thought it said that there will be a seperate line for the folks that have the pre-printed pass with the barcode on them. I'll have to go upstairs & get my Pass out and look again.

I know if varies in different ports but I believe that now with everyone having to fill out information before sailing, there is not a lot of distinction. I believe they are phasing out the seperate lines the had when the program started.

I have yet to see a seperate line but I am not saying for sure if they are any or have been any.

On every ship and line I have been on they just ask me for this information. Do ya have it or not? That kind of question.

While some think it does not matter if you have it or not, I think it still helps to have it done. This way it does save you a few minutes at check in time. Which gets you in line quicker to get on the ship.

I also think RCI's are nicer because you go ahead and have your payment info in the system as well. All you have to do is show the CC and your id with RCI but with Carnival you can not enter the CC information. You must do this at check in. Or at least that was the way it was for us in February.

There is a separate line at Pt. Canaveral for this. I know that doesn't help you vis a vis San Juan, but thought I'd mention it.

They had a separate line in Galveston, but since I was Diamond, I went thru that line instead. I would have that printed out in either case as it could do nothing except speed up the boarding process.
