    Question Radiance ship dry dock

I have heard that Radiance of the seas is scheduled for dry dock at the beginning of February. Does anyone know what is planned for refurbishing? Is there a website where you can find out about this? Also, I am cruising the first week after Radiance comes out of dry dock. Anyone have any ideas of what to expect? This is my first time on this ship and the first time cruising for those I'm going with. I'm hoping it will be smooth sailing.

Yes the Radiance is going into dry dock for refurb. Basic upkeep is my understanding, cleaning, replacing carpet and the like. When we were on her in Nov. She looked great IMO.

she is not a very old ship.. so i would imagine as Angie said it is basic upkeep rather than changing or adding anything.. many people seem to be very happy with the Radiance class in general, including me!

    you'll love her!s

Angie's right-- just the scheduled maintenance and cleaning- no major changes planned.

When we were on the Captain told us that the drydock was a little longer than normal due to a complete overhaul of the Azipods. The expected life of them is 5 years and this will be a couple months short of that.

The Radiance is a great ship.
