All the cabins have hairdryers and they aren't too bad either. But I have short hair so I'm easy
Not sure that I remember a hydro pool, but I will check it out for you in May
We explored the whole ship and loved every inch of it. I'm being told now that they have a crepe station and if they do,don't miss it. We fell in love with the caramel crepes on The Jewel of Seas when we were on her.
If you've not been on a Radiance class ship, I think you will love it. So much glass and gorgeous art work. The elevators are too cool as they are glass and you overlook the sea as you go up in them.
We did like the Schooner Bar(and we aren't drinkers) just for the ambiance. On our Alaskan cruise on her, we sitting in the bar and saw 2 whales taking a little jump. It was great.

Thank you for the information. We really are looking forward to this cruise and have also talked a bit to Reggie about booking the Radiance again for us to Hawaii in Fall 2009. Would love to do a round trip out of San Diego (got my fingers crossed).
I have short hair too. The hairdryers on the Spirit worked fine for me too. A relief not to have to pack one.
I just spent HOURS literally reading a thread about the Radiance. It and the information I have found here is really added to my excitement about the cruise. Our only disappointment is that they dropped Seattle from our port schedule ... the positive is that they have added in a full day in Victoria which will be great. Now just have to convinced my family (in Seattle) to drive to Vancouver or Victoria to see us. LOL
I sailed Serenade, and there was no hydro pool, so I would expect there won't be one on Radiance. The thermal suites had an aromatherapy room, heated stone "beds" and a wet sauna, all with floor to ceiling windows. Just a phenomenal way to relax. There were also dry saunas and there was a shower near the heated beds. I do not remember why that shower was special (aromatherapy? ) but it was all good. There are regular showers as well. There was also a comfortable sitting area with oranges and water, at the forward end of the ship.
I got the pass that allows you to go whenever you want during the cruise, but you can get a day pass if you prefer. Our cruise had several days at sea, so I knew it would be worth it. Your pass entitles you to use of a locker, a robe, and all the different things I mentioned.
I wish I was there right now..........
Another great thing about Radiance ships are the elevators that are right next to the sea. Hanna mentioned all the glass walls, and at the elevators you get the greatest view.
