Thread: "Elevator" Cabins on Radiance Class Ships??

I'm curious if any Royal Caribbean fans are familiar with the cabins immediately adjacent to the elevators? The specific cabins would be 9092, 9078, 8102, 8088, and 1056. They have a longer balcony, but is there ANY privacy? Does everyone on the elevators watch you eat breakfast? Or do they have to "lean" to watch. I don't really care but DH does.

I've been to Cruise Clues and CC sites and haven't really found someone who is familiar with these cabins. Any input would be welcome!

Hi! I'm currently involved with putting a group together on Radiance of the Seas for Alaska in 2007. I've done a lot of research on the cabins etc so I can get all my friends the best cabins in the category of their choice. I have booked both 9078 and 9092 for this venture. The wall on the side where the elevators are is a solid wall. No way anyone can see you. The balconies are very large. If you go to www.webshots.com and type in balconies-radiance you will find a picture on page 2 of the balcony for 8102. hope that helps.

I was at a party on one of those balconies, and can verify that there is privacy.

Important info:
There is plenty of room for lounge chairs on those balconies, but only the suites come with them. If you bring some lounges to your cabin from the pool area, they will let you keep them, but the stewards aren't allowed to get them for you.
