Thread: Radiance Alaska CruiseTour Excursions

We will be on Radiance 8/5/6 for the Alaska Cruise/ Inland tour package.Any suggestions on excursion for each segment? I'm thinking of booking independently from the ship. My parents will be with us and they are in their late 70's, so not looking at any thing too strenuous although they are physically active.My stepfather snorkled for the first time at age 77 last year on Mariner.Also considering ship sponsored excursions.all suggestions appreciated.

I know that the Radiance stops at Skagway, Ketchikan and Juneau, right?

What I need to know is what kind of things do you like? City tours, glacier walking, helicopter flying, cultural experiences, etc? Also what is your budget like? I have some recommendations, but would like to know more about what kind of activities you like or what you might be leaning towards.

Radiance OTS featured now on the Travel Channel

i saw that last night.

i just wish that they would shoot some new shows. this radiance show is all the way back from 2002. i swear i've seen it like 20 times!

You're right Alisia, they showed it on Sunday, I just happened to see more of the start last night. Time for some new stuff, I agree. Then they featured the Queen Mary 2 immediately after. That was interesting as I had not seen that before.

I too had not seen that one before either. I liked it as well.
