Thanks Char. Yes. Doing FISHES for whale watching and taking the White Pass Yukon Railroad in Skagway. I have flightseeing planned for Misty Fjords out of Ketchikan. Going to Mendenhall Glacier on a local bus in Juneau. We have nothing planned for Seward since the family doesn't think we need anything even though our train gets in at 11:00 and the ship doesn't leave until 9:00.

We didn't do anything in Seward when we did the one ways---the place to sight see is Anchorage. And the trip between Anchorage and Seward is full of wonderful views. What have you dug up in your searching? Enjoying the ship is what we did---we arrived around noon if I recall.

The on line check in says we can get on the ship at 1:00. I'm wondering how accurate that is since the ship doesn't leave until 9:00. I wouldn't mind going to the Sea Life Center in Seward but I don't know what to do with the luggage.

I did research on Anchorage but apparently a friend we know from way back when lives there and is taking time off to take us around. He is even picking us up at the airport. Not sure how we will do it since there are 6 of us and I doubt we will fit in his car. Cooper posted something about a day trip from Anchorage that sounded like fun. Maybe we can do that. We will see.
