Booking our Holy Land cruise we were promised an upgrade to a possible balcony cabin. Reservation has arrived, and it’s only an inside cabin, as we are used to inside cabins not to disappointed, the alternative would have been nice. Cabin number is 6178 towards the rear of the ship.

Upgrade for people that know Cunard is from a D8 to D5 cabin. I don’t know how standard the information is below, certainly different to us. Perhaps Steven can comment:-

    Complimentary 24-hour room service
Half bottle of sparkling wine at embarkation
Interactive TV with multi language film and music channels
    Direct-Dial telephone
    Refrigerator, safe and hair dryer
    Bath robe & slippers
Nightly turndown service with pillow chocolate
    Daily shipboard newspaper
    Daily fresh fruit (on request)
    220V 3-pin and 110V 2-pin Sockets
    Complimentary 24-hour room service
Half bottle of sparkling wine at embarkation

At any time of the day your stylish stateroom provides a welcome enclave of comfort and good taste. Wrap yourself in the soft bathrobe, ease into your slippers, then settle down to a film on your TV. Our turndown service sets the tone for a comfortable night’s sleep. Guests dine at a reserved table for either early or late dining in the Britannia Restaurant.

I was on 6167 in April so not far away it was a nice quiet cabin with very little movement even though the sea was rough. D8 to D5 is not a bad upgade and there is alway hope you may get another upgrade.

Not sure how interactive the TV is and the half bottle of wine is Pol Acker and is not all that nice.

The fridge is stocked with soft drinks plus water but there is a charge for what you use (the white slip in the last picture is the price list hooked on the fridge door.

I sailed on her twice when she was Caronia and loved her, all of the rooms were nice and the service and food were wonderful. The only problem was that she was a bit too small for me.

Thanks for the update Norman, too many eligant casual nights for me, but that's a sign of the times.

You can rent a box in the theatre on Royal Nights, I have not tried them so can't say if they are worth the price.
