Have you been on QV before?

Please feel free to post on the introduce yourself thread and say hello
    Hi Stephen

    Thanks for the welcome.

No - it will be my first time on QV - so will be an adventure as well as a cruise.

I'm sure we'll have enough time to meet up whilst we're onboard!

Char - I'm from the UK, in my forties (just) - have sailed with Cunard 18 times - mainly on the QE2.

    Hey Andi!

Looks like you and Stephen have the same love for the QE2! Stephen has sailed on her 15 times.

I suppose living in the UK gives you more of an opportunity to sail the nice itineraries than those of us living in the US...we have that long flight over and back. Of course, we could always do back to back to back! Sail over--sail in Europe--sail back to the US. I'll need to win the lottery to do that, but my hopes are high!

    Hi Andi

I have one more voyage on QE2 (27th October 2008) which will be my 16th time onboard her and my 18th Cunard voyage. Which ships other Cunarders have you been on? Maybe we have bumped into each other on one of our voyages

This is a good trip as we get 2.5 days at sea at the begining so we can have a good nose around the ship.

Sadly I too only have more voyage on the QE2 - 22nd October - so we'll just miss each other.

I have sailed on the QM2, Caronia and Sea Goddess I - all enjoyable.

Yes about the QV voyage - a good start to our trip!

I am booked on the QM2 next July it's a 4 night cruise so I can see what I think of her, then QV in November I really liked Caronia, but never managed to get on a Sea Goddess, but they looked lovely ships.

I know that this might be a little off topic but here is a link to a video to a Cunard Line promotional film from the 1950s urging viewers to take a Mediterranean Cruise aboard Cunard's Green Goddess the Caronia YouTube - Caronia Mediterranean Cruise 1950s Regards,Jerry
