Thread: QM2 8/29/11 TA Southampton to New York

I've just booked today! My first Cunard cruise and I'm going solo. Is anyone else joining me on this voyage?

Wish I was I hope you have a great time on QM2, she is a lovely ship and some of the public rooms are just beautiful, I really like the Queens Room

I wish we were sailing with you! We haven't been on Cunard...yet... You're going solo...Wendy couldn't make this trip?

I know you will have a great cruise...how could it be any other way on Queen Mary 2?

Will you come back and give us a cruise report?

I loved our TA on Eclipse so much that I had to do another before next year. Wendy and I are planning on a Celebrity TA in the Fall of 2012. We haven't picked out which one yet.

I booked the QM2 because the dates were perfect (didn't have to use vacation time) and my airfare is free so it just made sense. Wendy must work so I figured I would try solo cruising. I've never cruised solo and thought the QM2 would be the perfect cruise for going alone. I'm sure to meet a lot of interesting people. I hope the QM2 experience lives up to my expectations. The Eclipse TA in Aqua Class will be hard to beat! I'll write a review of the crossing when I get back.

Thank you, I'm very excited about my first Cunard trip. And I'm equally excited about crossing on the QM2. I've wanted to do this voyage ever since she came into service. I noticed you do a lot of Cunard sailings. I've read your reviews and love hearing of your experiences. Thank you.
