Looking for anyone who will be on this upcoming cruise in July. I am moving back to the US and decided what better way to move, then on this majestic ship.

I am sure you will enjoy your time on QM2, she is a beautiful ship and there will be plenty to keep you entertained on the crossing.

Cruising is a wonderful way to enjoy retirement!!
Stopped counting after 110 cruises.
I am very disappointed in the service I have received by Cunard so far!
I have booked my very first cruise on the transatlantic voyage and so far this is what I have experienced:
After ordering a delux balcony and paying the expensive but worth it price, I was contacted two days later saying I wasn't charged the full amount. They said because I am traveling alone I would now have to pay 200% of the double occupancy rate! I can understand paying more but 200%??
I now have to pay for all the lodging, meals, entertainment, and more of a "ghost" That's not fair.
To top it off, I was reviewing the correspondence back from Cunard and it showed my only going in a covered, obstructed balcony and not the delux I requested/payed for. When I called they said it would now cost me an additional $900.00 for the change!
I am being descriminated against here!! What the hell is going on?
I would like a response from a member of management on what is happening here! I have never felt so put-off by any company in my entire life! All I wanted to do was take an amazing trip back to the US after several years overseas living and working in the UK.
I have written on the Cunard page and ofcourse have not had a response.
I am sorry to hear you are not having a good experience so farThe service on board will be much better.
The single supplement is one of the most main problems with cruises and applies to all cruise lines to some degree. The usual supplement is 175% so I am not sure why you are being chaged 200%.
A shelterd balcony will be much better for a transatlantic as it tends to be windy so the shelter offered is a good thing. Did you book direct with Cunard?
If you feel you have not got the cabin you paid for and want to send a letter of complaint to Cunard. Their head office is at Carnival House in Southampton and address it to Peter Shanks (the Presedent and Managing Diretor).
