Hi Paul! Good to see another local memeber here.

I'm pleased to see your started you've own roll call for your trip!

I am going on my very first voyage this November on QM2 for the 2 night cruise, when I started my roll call I was the only one, now plenty of other memebers are going, so I'm sure you'll find the same.

Enjoy your time here at Cruise Line Fans and be sure to check out the various other forums here!

Always a good idea to stay near by the night before. I'll be doing the same but at a family friend's house.

I always enjoy watching ships sail, I should be off to Southampton next Friday and Saturday to see 7 sail. Sadly I couldn't arrange anything to get aboard one of them for a look this time. But I will be touring Queen Victoria and meeting the Captain on August 15th. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'd love to hear what your thoughts of Queen Mary 2 were once you've returned home.

Good job a wave didn't get in your cabin!

I've been waiting a long time to get aboard Queen Victoria, it's taken quite a while for me to get this invitation.

Queen Mary 2 still has to be my favourtie and of course is designed for rough seas!

Hi, I am sure you will have no problems with QM2 in bad weather. Kings Court is not as nice as the Lido on QV and the theatre is not as good. I think you will like QM2, she is a beautiful ship

It's not smaller, but less open so it does not seem as easy to find a seat. It is nice to sit in a window seat and watch people walking by on the real teak decks.
