Thread: QM2 Holiday cruise, 12/20/09

My husband and I will be on the QM2 15 day holiday cruise this December 20, 2009.

This will be our first holiday cruise, am really looking forward to it.

Anybody else going ?

Our Cunard Navigator, Harry, has already said hello, so please don't hesitate to ask him any questions you might have about the ship or about navigating around CLF.

I haven't sailed during the Christmas holiday before, but I'll bet you are in for a treat with decorations and activities onboard at this time of the year.

I am sure you will have a great time on QM2, she is beautiful inside and out.

Two things not to miss are the self service ice cream in the Kings Court and afternoon tea in the Queens Room.

I will be aboard also. I've never done a Holiday cruise but was on board the ship last November when the Christmas decorations went up. That was part of my decision to book for this year.

Thank you all for the warm welcome, I'm planning to explore the various forums.

This will be our 9th or 10th cruise with Cunard, I lost track. Our very first cruise in 2002 was on the QE2, that cruise got us hooked. It was transatlantic, 6 days, we had so much fun exploring the ship, nothing since quite compare to that very first cruise.
Since then we have cruised on other lines, but the Cunard line is our favorite.

Yup, that's Boyd who will also be aboard. He occasionally ventures out of the cabin to pose for pictures. And the QM2 is our favourite.

Welcome Aboard 7Seas! We have to wait till next June before we are back on our FAVORITE ship. Thanks to Lindaann for getting us hooked! Lindaann, is a very nice and easy and fun to talk with lady.

We enjoyed her company on a cruise we took 2 years ago. She has a vast knowledge about QM2. Hope to see you will review after your cruise.

Phillip, who will be on this cruise also, (haven't 'heard' from him in a while) normally bring his Pink Flamingo on cruises. He also has a Duck, but don't know it it goes on cruises, too.

Maybe you and Phillip can arrange a play date for Boyd and the Pink flamingo during the cruise.
