QM2 has a cleaning team that comes in the cabin twice a day to clean, talking with them it has been on board since their round the world cruise, but was slowly coming back and by the time we docked in Southampton there was a more cases of it going around. We would see the red carts in the hallways where they were cleaning.

Crossing the arctic cricle was cool!! We were so pleased with Olden, instead of Geirangar it was more scenic and beautiful, if thats possible. We took a helicoptr ride to view the glaciers and fiords. the pilot flew over QM2, that was an experience!

No midnight sun, at Honnasvag, but it was day light for 24 hours plus. Glad we had the heavy drapes closed on the balcony so we could sleep. Saw many reindeer on that tour, they were brought in by the Sami people who live there.

If you ever get a chance, see Norway, it is so beautiful, I am glad we had the chane to go again and see more.

    Thanks for the report Jeanne

I did not see any sign of the red carts when I was on board in May, so it must have been lucky.

I agree Noway is beautiful and well worth a visit.

Hi Linda, Yes, I met your friend, sorry forgot her name??? and she told you you had said hello. I saw her on the last day of the cruise and she was looking for the CC book. I had returned it after the first CC gathering, but on the second gathering after leaving Southampton, somone else had the book and I guess didn't return it. The ship didn't let anyone know that Noro was going around, I think because most of them got off when we reached Southampton that first week. My dining room waiter was sick for a couple of days, and on my last day of quarantine I asked the cleaning men if there were more cases, and he said a lot more, when I asked how many he just rolled his eyes. The only good thing about it is that I didn't over eat after that and didn't gain any extra weight!

I spoke with friends yesterday who were also on the NY roundtrip. They aren't computer-literate so they wouldn't be involved with any groups. They enjoyed the trip and didn't have any complaints. They said Bergen was their favourite port but they didn't feel the need to go back to Norway. They also felt that service was comparable to the Med cruise we all took 4 years ago.
They were not aware that there was any noro on board and they were on deck 5 and didn't notice anything around them.
I had an email from the other friend but we haven't spoken yet, I have a long list of questions for her.
    So what's next?

Thank you Harry. That was taken during the QM2 World Club party.
