My family is going to be on the Queen Mary 2 departing from Southampton on January 11, 2010. We would be interested in hooking up with others who would want to share a van for a shore excursion in either or both Port Said (CAIRO) or/and Safaga (LUXOR). If interested, email through this site.

Hi Newbie Cruiser

I too am booked on this cruise from Southampton to Dubai, we are also newbies to the crusing scene. I have booked it for myself and my husband for our 20th Anniversary.

We will be flying out of Australia on the 8th of January leaving 30+ temperatures and will be spending one night in London before heading down to Southampton for the night prior to joining the ship.

We have been looking forward to this all year, we booked in back in February, and now that we only have a few months left the excitement is finally starting to grow.

I do hope that you are as excited as we are.

Hi Again Cruise for 2. Did you manage to find anybody to book a private van tour for Port Said??? My husband and I were looking at the shore excursions brochure and think that this may well be the way to go. Can you tell me how many are in your "family" ie how many in total there would be in the van, there are only two of us. If you can give me a few more details I will have a chat with my husband and see if he wishes to pursue the idea.

Hi, I have a van set up for the two Egypt ports (Safaga and Port Said) - full day including lunch -- 9 persons in a van. $ 120 p/p USD -- I have emailed you.

Cruise for 2, if you click on Jakalo's name a dropdown menu will appear with the choice of emailing Jakalo. Click on this and it will give you their email address for direct communication with them.
