Thread: Voyage of Vikings QM2 June 6, 2009

Hi and welcome

QM2's is a vary beautiful ship I am going to see her in 10 months at the Whitsundays on the 28/2/10 and stay there all day to see her arrive at 8:00 and leave at 6:00.

I did this trip two years ago on the QM2. Sorry, Stephen, but we were able to dock at Flaam. Wonderful becauseyou are right there in the town.
I am coming over on the ship and will disembark in Southampton to visit family and then re-board when it returns from Norway.
If you have trouble sleeping then the inside cabin will be perfect. The sun doesn't set until around 11:30 pm and is back up by 4. I had a balcony cabin and some nights had to tell myself go to bed it really is late.

I stand corrected

Flaam is showing as an anchor port in the brochure so maybe there is another ship in?

The Costa Atlantica is in that day so I presume she gets the dock.
