I hope you enjoy your Cunard voyage Dolores and look forward to hearing all about it. Is this your first time on Cunard?

I am going on QM2 for the first time on the 20th July and very much looking forward to it.

I did a tour on the QM2, but had the flu that day and wasn't feeling well at all... the tour was delayed 2 hours, which ate into the medicine time, lol... so I was able to have lunch, wine and had to leave...

She is sailing from NYC going to Halifax, NS and then to Boston and will be in Boston Harbor for the fireworks July 4th.

Trying to figure out who will be joining me in my cabin though... should I bring my 7 year old? This will give her more cruise days than my dh, lol... My friends are bringing their kids, lol... still working on this part. We are staying at the Grand Hyatt the night before...and doing some group things... going to be fun!

Really looking forward to the QM2 and seeing how great Diamond benerfits are.

The other Diamond benefits are not that great, but the 8 hours free internet time is just wonderful. So nice to be able to come online and not have to worry about how much it's costing.

Sounds like fun and a front row seat for the fireworks.

I am looking forward to the free internet. I am sure I will be using it... I always bring the laptop and work from wherever.

That is what I thought too Reggie, but I am not sure... Boston harbor isn't really near the Esplanade, Charles River where they shoot the fireworks, and there are ALOT of highrises inbetween, lol... we'll see.

It is only an inside cabin, but I am not paying for it, so I am not complaining, really! I will have business meetings onboard on sea days... as long as the bar is open, I am good, lol.

Onboard - Our 5th Time On This Type Of Cruise

We too are going to be on this Voyage onboard the Mary.

It is not a cruise but known as a Party Cruise.

We did this type of cruise 3 times on the QE2 and 1 times on the QM2.

We enjoyed Halifax with the Marine Museum & Titanic Tour.
Very interesting including visiting the Halifax Cemetery - Titanic Victims

We very much enjoyed the Cruise, Walking Boston &
also the Fireworks with the Boston Pops on the AM Radio.

Of course, the ship is REALLY very active inside and on the open decks.

Last time we were there, the Boston Harbor was hosting a
Operation Sail with "Old Ironside's" afloat for the first time firing her canons.

Looking forward for the Pre-Cruise Documents to arrive within 70 days before
the cruise with lots of interesting information contained (Onboard Activities - Tours)

You will enjoy the events. Prayer for Good Weather.
