Thread: QM2 10th Dec 2009 Connoseurs Carribean

Hi All

My hubby and I are taking this cruise from New York down to the Carribean and back again. Anyone out there who has booked the same cruise please get in touch.

Also any information on what to expect would be appreciated.

Not been on QM2 yet so can't tell you much about the ship, but I know a lot of people love her.

I am sure you will have a great time and I am sure the weather in the Carribean will be better tahn New York in December

Maybe you can give her some of the highlights of what to expect on her new adventure....things that are universal to all the Queens voyages.

Then after your cruise in July you can tell her more specifics.

I know you can expect good food, great service and a smooth ride.

You are sure to have a welcome reception in the Queens Room where you get to meet the Captain and have a couple of free drinks. If you don't want bubbly, find a waiter (there should be a few about) and ask for something else.

What cabin grade are you in, grills or normal?

As Char has said, I am on QM2 in July for 4 nights so I will be able to give you more info about the ship after I return.

If you have any questions, I will do my best to answer them, and if I don't know the answer I will try to find out for you.

I am sure you will love your first cruise on Cunard, but be warned, it is highly addictive.
