    QM2 Westbound/Eastbound. 8th April 2009 & 26th April 2009.

Not quite a back to back. 12 days in New York in between.

Would love to hear if anybody else is travelling on either of these dates.

    Congratulations, sounds wonderful
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

    Hi Sue & Lanky Lad,

We, that's myself, hubby and daughter are all really excited about this trip but also a little apprehensive as we have never been beyond Europe before.

Hoping to get to Washington & Boston for a couple of nights each. Seems pretty doable by train from New York.

On Monday it will be 100 days to go. Not that I'm counting or anything

Gail - I LOVE transatlantics, there is so much to do on the ship you'll be amazed how fast it goes. Linda

I have not been to Washington, but Boston is beautiful, I only had a day there but would love to go back.

I spent two days pre-cruise in Boston last June. It is a wonderful place to visit. The transportation system is greatl, we rode every colour line they have all around the city. You can purchase a day pass so you can hop on and off without the hassle of looking for fare money. We also purchased the "Go card" which gives you admission to various attractions. The card was around $55.00 each and we estimated that what we did would have cost well over $100 in admissions. Actually I think "Go cards" are available for most cities.
