Stephen, that sounds lovely! One can only dream!

How much would a full cruise like that cost in the least expensive cabin?

If I win the lottery it will be high on my list of things to do.

Char, if you win the lottery you will be able to upsize to a princess grill suite at a minimum.

My only complaint about the cruise is that it goes the wrong way. Since you cross the international date line you will be losing a day of cruising.

Stephen, anything going in the other direction?

That's true, Neal. If I won the lottery cost would not be an issue....silly me!

Sorry Neal none going the other way.

Char a D8 inside would be about $15,000 (each) for the full trip. I can't go as it clashes with my Queen Victoria voyage.

If I win the Lotto though, I could go to Sydney on Queen Elizabeth, that would give me time to fly home, have a month at home, then set off for Queen Victoria.

Mrs. Robert W and I voyaged on the Q.V., last year from Sydney to Southampton and thence to New York. In 2011, We shall voyage on the Q.E., on what appears to be a similar route. It is surprising how the weeks have elapsed - it is now 83 weeks to our embarkation in Sydney.
We. last year, voyaged on the Q.E.2, on its last traverse across the Atlantic. Our first voyaging, was with Cunard on the Q.E.2.
What is most pleasurable in voyaging, is the endless opportunities of meeting people, winning at Housie, Bingo for the uninitiated and fish waving. Another pleasure is hearing the pronunciation of many Australian towns and cities - WAGGA WAGGA - has a vast cotererie of pronunciations. I am hoping that Q.E. shall be able to screen a recent diocumentary on the formative years of New South Wales - Rogue Nation, Its coda is a delicious irony on the farwell to Captain Darling.
If we do not correspond, then perhaps we may meet, late on the 23rd February, 2011. Until then, I shall concentrate on the Third Asehs Test and await return of the Poms, to our Home, in 2010.
