Question Have you been to Progreso?

    Have you been to Progreso?

If so, would you like to return? If not, would you like to go?

Yep!. Cute little port, not much to do there IMHO. But...we took the locals bus into Merida. Had a wonderful day of walking around there. Lots and lots of history. And the people are so friendly. I would go back in a heartbeat.

We've been scheduled for a port stop in Progreso twice. But times cancelled for some reason or other. It wasn't hurricane season.

    Hope to go sometimes!

We just went there last month. There are lots of Mayan ruins within a fairly close drive, with the most famous being Chichen Itza (one of the modern 7 wonders of the world). We took the excursion to see it, and had a great time. Truly impressive! I'll post a couple of pictures later.

We did Chichen Itza about 20 years ago from Cozumel and it was a very long trip. Glad to hear it's lots closer from Progreso! Looking forward to your pictures!
