Carnival recently changed our pot-of-call from Cozumel/Calica to Progreso/Cozumel. This will be our second cruise and we are very newbie and will be taking our college age kids an friends with us.

Any suggestions or tips about Progreso? The kids want to do a pyramid tour-so any suggestions or links? We may book thru Carnival ,we have heard horror storys of tours booked without carnivals help that got back late an missed the boat. Most of those stories came from carnival tho.

We were looking at SanFransisco beach or the Carnival beach(Passion Island?). We have a couple of kids that wanted to try parasailing and did not know if passion isle had that.

We leave Galvaston on 5/14/06, have not figured out the countdown timer yet.

Hello all, looks like we are going to try a tour to the Dzibilchaltun Mayan ruins. Supposed to be pryamids an a cenote pool if you want to swim. Supposed to be a 4 hour tour an so far the only way we have found to book is thru Carnival-so far.

Anybody done this one ? We had thought about Tulum but thats 7 hours with a 2 1/2 hour bus ride, no thanks ,did not go to Mexico to ride a bus chin to knee with everyone else.
