My husband and I will be joining you, and we are really looking forward to this! This will be our 6th cruise together, btw. We just got back from a cruise around the Black Sea, and after dealing with 8 kinds of currency and about 12 languages, we are looking forward to a trip all in English. It was not that we didn't love learning about the different people and cultures. I just had trouble trying to speak one language and another would come out! It will be a nice change anyway, although we may still need a translator.

DH has family in London, so we plan to spend some time there after the cruise, and I am trying to talk him into going early to Amsterdam as well. What are you two thinking of doing?

Yes we know what you mean by trying to deal with dif. languages and money .
We have been on 13 Cruises and this one will be 14 .
We just came back from Hawaii and last year we were in Egypt .
Before that we have been to Alaska , Caribbean , Both sides of the Med. , The Baltic , Greece .
Needless to say we love to travel .
We are looking at staying a few nights before this trip in Amsterdam .
We have been to London before and LOVED it .

Good morning, eh? OK, it was my turn!

52 had better not be old, because I will be 51. However, my baby of a husband will be a mere 45. For our last 3 cruises, we were among the youngest people on the ship, so it will be nice to have another couple our age.

We haven't done as much as you, but here's our list: Southern Caribbean, Western, Panama Canal, the southern Danube and the Black Sea. Phil travelled a lot as a kid, and more for his job, so he doesn't have the travel bug like I do. But he does have the history bug, so we try to find trips to include that.

Hope your showers today stay rain, instead of that stuff you have to shovel!

I have heard that Holland America is sinking big bucks into this ship , changing all the washrooms and carpet .

I LOVE the idea of a small ship you get to know more people .

I was looking something else up yesterday, but found the website for the Belfast port and a page all about shore excursions from there! It will be hard for use to decide what to do.
