Thread: Prinsendam & Cradle of Civilization Cruise

Hi: Anyone else out there on this cruise (Oct.1 - Oct.17)? We are only booking HAL's tour to the pyramids out of Port Said. Intend to do the rest of the ports on our own. Looking for ideas and/or partners.

Wish we were going, but we will have to wait till August 2007 to return to the Prinsendam. Have you ever been on the ship??? Both myself and BillS as well as others are huge fans of our favorite 'Dam" Ship!

No. We have never been on the ship. We are glad to hear that you liked it. We have booked a room with a balcony. It looks like the room will be a good size. We have travelled on Princess ( 4 times ), Renaissance ( once ) and Royal Carrib. ( once ) This is our first time on HAL. Can you tell me if they are really strict about bringing beer, bottled water, or soda's on board ?

Bottled water, soda pop and wine are allowed to be brought on board. Beer is held for you till the end of the cruise.
