Thread: Large corporation booking large part of ship

We were told (on CC) that a large group had booked a great portion of our cruise on the Coral Princess Jan 13, 2006. TAs claim they know nothing. Anybody know how to find out? We have had problems in the past, with public areas and lounges being closed, dinner seatings being switched, and groups of people "taking over" the ship. Anybody know how to find out? Thank you!!

No, they don't give out that info cause they know passengers won't like it!!

I think pax should be able to find out this info. Many could shift their desired cruise date a week or two to avoid this situation. Oh well ... I guess we can hope for a 'fun' group to cruise with!

But then they might not be able to sell the ramaining cabins.... so you know they aren't going to say anything...

I agree they will never give out that information and chance loseing bookings.

There have been a few times that I was able to put the ship name and sailing date in Google and scan down through the results.... which will mostly be TA sites... and find a reference to a large group, but nothing came up for Coral Princess on that date.

We had the same problem and were never able to find this out. I did run things like part of the name of the ship with the month of sailing and the word group to see if I got any hits. I think I used Google for that or Ask Jeeves.
