This trip was a dream come true for me.
The ship was beautiful, food and service was excellent, as was the entertainment we saw.
The ocean was too calm for my liking, I prefer a little motion while cruising.
The weather was perfect (except for the humidity) every day with blue skies and sun.
For those of you interrested in the night life....I'm sorry I had no information for you. We are seldom up late and do little drinking. We want to be up early to enjoy the whole day!
All of our tours were with Princess and we were pleased with every one.
The Baltic was awesome and this trip more so, both of which I won't soon forget.
Please feel free to ask any questions and I will try to answer them.
I have not yet up loaded my pics but hope to do that this weekend. Back to work tomorrow.
By the way, Jan and I each put down $100 on a future cruise so we will be cruising again, just don't know where and when yet.

Istanbul, Turkey
Our tour today was Istanbul Highlights/Cruise and Lunch. Finally I was in Istanbul which which was the main reason I picked this particular cruise. I am not sure why but have wanted to see Istanbul since I was young and heard that song about the name change from Constantinople and because it is where East meets West with the city being in both!

Especially enjoyed your reports on Conatantinople... by whatever name!

It's a place I've always wished to go!

Wondering .... How comfortable did you feel there? Would you consider taking anything other that an excursion offered by the ship there?

I felt very comfortable there, but doubt I would ever do anything but a ship tour anywhere. Some friends at church, a retired pastor and his wife a retired RN spent 6 weeks there visiting a daughter who was living there. They went all over on their own, by taxi and walking, each day while daughter worked. They told me they never felt uncomfortable or in danger, they loved it there! If there weren't so many places I still want to say, I would consider returning for a longer stay.
