Wonder what they're doing with folks taking a B2B while this extra cleaning is going on?

I was on the Crown which sailed Feb 4 and had to return to FL without touching any port.We returned Thursday instead of Saturday and missed Cays,Aruba and Curacao. It was a real pity but fortunately my family did not catch the virus.Princess was excellent at organising hotel arrangements ,flight changes and luggage storage. We were sent to a hotel in Orlando from Thursday to Saturday Feb 11 when we could board again for the second part of the cruise. No need to tell you the kids were excited to have the opportunity to have a Disney break betwwen cruises!!!We are from Argentina so Disney is not just around the corner for us.Princess kept our luggage stored and we kept just one small piece of luugage for those couple of days.We preferred to rent a car instead of taking the offered bus but it was just to be more independent while in Orlando.
In spite of being fully desinfected there were a few cases of noro in the second cruise but we could make it to Cayman,Roatan,Belice and Cozumel. All th food had to be handled by the staff, you could not serve yourself anything.
There was no Alaska Parade at dinner on last night due to the red alert.
The good thing:we did not catch the virus, got a full refund of the first half of the cruise and 25% off for next cruise.
The bad thing.we missed 3 days at the beach....

I had clients on last week's sailing of the Ruby and while they were delayed leaving port because of the extensive cleaning, there was no report of norovirus during their cruise.

The only complaints were that Princess handled the delayed boarding VERY poorly. My clients were very unhappy with the entire process and how they were treated. But that's another story.

Bottom line is that they spent a great deal of time and effort on the cleaning and it seemed to work out well.
