Question What changes could Princess make to improve your cruise experience?

What changes could Princess realistically make to improve your cruise experience with them?

Princess currently is making a lot of changes to the Sapphire so I don't have to worry about that.

Going back to having the MDR open for lunch on PORT days would certainly improve my cruise experience.

There are times when we don't get off the ship in a port for one reason or another and very much enjoy having lunch in the MDR on those days.

    LuLu:

As much as I respect your views, I wonder why you don't want to have lunch on the Lido Deck, amongst the rest of us who are perfectly happy rubbing elbows with the rest of the passengers who really want nothing more than a nice salad, with minimal hassle!

When I told hubby about this change, he said he would rather have a MDR open for lunch as it means less people in the Horizon.

We often get back on the ship after a morning in port. There is one port that we don't bother to leave the ship (Ensenada) so we'll just head to the Horizon or the outside grill for a chicken sandwich.

Oh, Steve , we love to have lunch with other pax ... just in the MDR rather than the Lido. One of our big reasons for not getting off a ship in a port is bad weather. On nasty days we have no desire to be on the Lido deck.

We're like LuLu - we prefer the main dining room to the buffet for all meals. Not that we don't want to rub elbows with the masses in the buffet, but we just like to sit down, be waited on, and enjoy a nice leisurely breakfast, lunch, or dinner. As they say, to each their own.

But I agree with the bedding; while Princess is not bad at all, those new European pillow-top mattresses they have on other cruise lines are really nice. With every ship had those!

We so wish Princess would have REAL 14 and 20 day roundtrip cruises out of Ft. Lauderdale! While we can book 14 and 20 day cruises, they are really 7 or 10 day B2B with the need to return to Ft. Lauderdale in the middle.
