Thread: Help me reach my goal!

My goal is to touch every continent.. I only need 2 more.. Is it possible to Cruise Australia and then get to Antarctica from Australia. They are my last 2 continents and I would love to plan this trip for Dec 2012 or January 2013....whichever is warmer for that time. Before mobility issues will deter me!. Thanks, Kathy

Almost all of the Antarctic cruises originate or go to South America rather than Australia. The only one I can find that hits Antarctica and Australia is on Holland America, starts in South America and ends in Sidney. It is a 32 night cruise!

:-) wow what an awesome goal! Good news is that you can do it all in combination and there are some cruises that depart from Aus. There is a fabulous small cruise line called Orion that leaves for Antarctica from my hometown of Hobart, Australia and also from New Zealand. They have dates for January 2013.

There would be heaps of options that could be done in combination to cruise Australia and New Zealand and get you to either of the debarkation ports for these crusies. In fact I think that will be the hardest decision ;-)
