I think that assigning you to a lounge makes it easier than before when people were all over the ship and hanging out in the walkways and stairwells. One thing I would change is that on the screen in the Princess Theater (where we were), there was a video playing over and over again about Princess -- one last pitch to book another cruise. It was a nice idea to run something, but maybe some of the cruise video (with the different activities, etc) could be shown instead. A passenger might even see himself participating in a deck activity.

Fairly Painless .... Things normally are on schedule and handled in an orderly fashion.

In the days when we used to drive we always had to wait till our color was called in order to get off the ship & we were always in a hurry to get on the road. The new system they have today makes things so much better and quicker but nowadays we want to be the last off the ship & would prefer to leave at 10:30 or later but are usually the last ones escorted off the ship somewhere around 9:15 or so. I guess you can't win them all.

The Platinum/Elite Louge provided for disembarkation is a rather comfortable place to wait and we've never found it to be crowded. There's coffee, Danish, the USA Tody, and the TVs are set on the weather and news stations.

We normally pick an early time (the first assisted) to leave the ship so we're never there very long. On our last cruise we were off by 8:15 AM ... but some were not scheduled to get off until 10:45 AM. Normally, things run earlier than that.
