We had booked a mini suite on the Golden Princess to Hawaii on Oct. 12. We had an offer to change to a window suite for only $150 pp. The amenities of a suite are irresistable. We changed. Can't wait to have breakfast in Sabatinis starting off with a mimosa.

If you are a non-smoker (and don't like the smell of tobacco), you may want to check the deck plan. After we booked the Golden Princess last year for our December 2010 cruise, I decided to check out the other cabins that were still left. Very few, but some Window Suites were available. Too pricey for us, but I saw that the location was near the cigar bar (Players Club). When we were onboard and checking out the casino just for kicks, we walked around and the smell of tobacco was quite overwhelming in the area of the Window Suites.
Just something to think about.
